Iron Recluse

Iron Recluse is a mashup of several existing solo RPG tools.

• Recluse by Grave Utterance
• Ironsworn by Shawn Tomkin (using various Ironsworn products, not just the base product).
• OSR Solo by Peter Rudin-Burgess
• MINOR USE: Ironsmith Expanded Oracles by Eric Bright

Due to the six-sided die being the most common type of die available for sale, I wanted to create a solo RPG tool that solely uses this type of die.

The initial inspiration was Mythic Game Master Emulator: it contains a yes/no oracle, an event type generator, and open oracles for interpretation. In order to have the same type of parts for this tool, some deliberation was done of select existing tools to mash together:

• For the yes/no oracle, I brought in the dice rolling of Recluse with wording adapted from Ironsworn.
• For the event type generation, I brought in the "Plot Twist" section from OSR Solo.
• For the open oracles, a random sampling of the various tables from Ironsworn were adapted into d66 tables.
